Frequently Asked Questions

No. The system is 100% pneumatic. It operates entirely on compressed air, making it an ideal “plug-and-play” solution for facilities that already have air lines but want to avoid the clutter and safety risks of extension cords and electric motors.

Yes. One of the standout features of this unit is that it includes an adjustable air amplifier. By rotating the housing, you can increase or decrease the internal air gap. This allows you to fine-tune the suction force and air consumption to match the specific weight of the fumes or dust you are capturing.

Absolutely. Because there are no electrical components, motors, or moving parts, the unit is intrinsically safe. It does not generate heat or sparks, making it the preferred choice for “Class 1, Div 1” environments, chemical processing, and refineries where electric extractors are prohibited.

Virtually none. Unlike electric extractors that have fans, bearings, and motors that eventually burn out, our pneumatic design has zero moving parts. Aside from keeping your compressed air supply clean and dry, the unit is essentially maintenance-free for its entire lifespan.

Every unit comes standard with a high-pull industrial magnetic base. This allows you to instantly mount the extractor to any ferrous metal surface—such as a welding table, machine frame, or steel beam—without the need for tools, clamps, or permanent drilling.

The unit is designed with OSHA compliance in mind. At standard operating pressures (80–100 PSIG), it produces a sound level between 67 and 79 dBA. This is well below the OSHA 90 dBA permissible exposure limit, ensuring a safer and more comfortable work environment.

The SAP-200 is designed to fit a standard 2″ (51mm) industrial vacuum or extraction hose. For optimal performance, we recommend using a smooth-bore flexible hose up to 25 feet in length to ensure maximum suction velocity at the source.

The system operates best at 80–100 PSIG. To ensure maximum longevity and performance, we recommend using clean, dry, and filtered air. Using a 5-micron filter on your air line will prevent oil and moisture from accumulating inside the amplifier.
