The Supreme High Flow Air Jet

Focus: Volume & Mass The High Flow Air Jet is designed for applications where air volume is the priority. Utilizing a larger internal exit opening, it entrains massive amounts of ambient air, making it the most efficient choice for thermal management.

  • Best For: Rapid cooling of molded parts, drying large surface areas, and moving smoke or fumes.
  • The Advantage: It creates a “soft” but high-volume flow that won’t damage sensitive components while maximizing energy savings.

The Supreme High Flow Air Jet

Focus: Impact & Force When the job requires “muscle,” the High Velocity Air Jet delivers. By constricting the exit opening, we increase the air’s kinetic energy to create a concentrated, high-impact stream that maintains its integrity over longer distances.

  • Best For: Heavy chip removal, ejecting parts from high-speed presses, and liquid blow-off from deep crevices.
  • The Advantage: Provides the highest “Thrust-to-CFM” ratio in our lineup, allowing you to do more work with less compressed air.

How It Works: The Coanda Effect

Both Supreme Air Jets utilize the Coanda Effect to amplify your compressed air.

  1. A small amount of compressed air is throttled through an internal ring nozzle at sonic velocity.
  2. This air “attaches” to the internal profile of the jet, creating a low-pressure area (vacuum).
  3. Ambient air is “entrained” into the stream at a ratio of up to $20:1$, resulting in a high-volume blast of air using only a fraction of the power.

Yes. By installing a pressure regulator on the supply line, you can adjust the thrust from a gentle breeze to a powerful blast for heavy scrap removal.
This is a mechanical air amplifier only. It is designed for blowing, drying, and cooling. If you have dust that “sticks” to surfaces or parts that cling together, you likely need our Ionizing version to kill the static bond.
The Jet is compact (approx. 2″ height/length) and features standard threaded fittings (1/8″ NPT with 1/8″ BSP options), making it easy to mount on machine frames or flexible “Stay-Set” hoses for targeted aim.
Yes. Our Air Jets meet OSHA safety requirements for dead-end pressure. Even if the nozzle is placed directly against skin, the air will escape through the side slots, preventing dangerous pressure buildup.

For a 10 ft. run, we recommend a minimum 1/8″ pipe. For longer runs, use a larger bore pipe to avoid pressure drops that can weaken the jet’s performance.
