A Supreme Air Products™ Pressure Regulator is the critical control point for any compressed air system, allowing you to fine-tune the force and flow of your pneumatic tools. While your compressor may cycle between 100 and 125 PSIG, products like Air Knives, Air Amplifier and Vortex Tubes often perform most efficiently at a constant, lower pressure. By stabilizing the output, the regulator prevents “pressure spikes” that can lead to inconsistent drying or cooling, while also acting as a primary energy-saving device, reducing your air pressure by just 10 PSIG can cut your energy costs by up to 5%.

Selection & Installation Guide

  • Small Vortex Tube Muffler: Features a 1/4″ NPT Female thread at the discharge end. This model is designed to fit all 1/4″ NPT Point Hose Kits, allowing for directed, silenced airflow in tight spaces.
  • Medium Vortex Tube Muffler: Features a 3/8″ NPT Female thread at the discharge end. This model is the industrial standard for our larger tubes and fits all 3/8″ NPT Point Hose Kits for high-capacity cooling applications.
  • Ice Prevention: In high-humidity environments, ensure the muffler is kept clear of frost buildup. If the internal media becomes saturated with ice, simply allow it to thaw or blow it out with dry compressed air to restore full flow.
  • Modular Setup: These mufflers can be installed directly onto the product and be used with Flexible Single Point Kit or Dual Hose Point Kit.
