Installation & Usage Tips

  • Internal Swap: Simply unscrew the cold end cap of your Small Vortex Tube to access the internal generator. Slide the old generator out and the new one in—no special tools required.
  • The “Sweet Spot”: For most cabinet cooling applications, we recommend starting with the 8 SCFM generator to maximize the BTU/hr output. For localized spot cooling on delicate electronics, a lower 2 or 4 SCFM generator may be more efficient.
  • Maintenance Check: When swapping generators, always inspect the O-rings for wear and ensure the internal chamber is free of oil or debris to maintain peak cooling performance.
