Installation & System Optimization

  • Size Matters: For runs over 25 feet, we recommend using at least a 3/8″ ID hose to prevent significant pressure loss. A 1/4″ hose is excellent for short “pigtail” connections to individual tools.
  • Leak Prevention: Always use thread sealant (PTFE tape or liquid sealant) on the NPT fittings to ensure a 100% airtight seal. Even a small leak can cost hundreds of dollars in wasted electricity per year.
  • Safe Routing: Use cable ties to keep air hoses off the floor and away from moving machine parts to extend the life of the hose and prevent accidents.
